How we work — from the first conversation to handover

Updated

A predictable process with a written plan before any device is bought. The five steps from consultation and survey to installation, handover and support.

You should know what happens after you get in touch. This is how we work, whether your home is a new flat in renovation or an older one that you already live in. The aim is a predictable process, with a written plan before any device is bought.

1. Consultation

We start with how your household actually lives: what annoys you today, who uses which rooms, and what you already own. Bring a list of devices if you have one. Many can be kept, and we tell you which before you spend anything more.

2. Survey and system design

We do a site visit or review your floor plan. You then get a written device list, a network plan and the scope of work. In an older home this includes a wiring and network survey, so the plan fits what your home actually supports. See what to check in an older home.

3. Coordination

If you are renovating, we work alongside your interior designer, contractor and electrician before the walls close. They keep doing their jobs, and we give them what they need to know. See what to prepare before renovation.

4. Installation and configuration

Devices are installed, the controller is commissioned, dashboards are built and automations are tuned. Electrical work is carried out by appropriately licensed personnel in accordance with Singapore requirements.

5. Handover and support

A walkthrough, written documentation, the administrator credentials, and a support arrangement. We build with the aim that you can take over the system yourself later, with no proprietary layer only we can service.

Common questions

How long does an installation take?

A focused single-area retrofit is often a day or two. A whole-home system runs alongside your renovation timeline. You get an indicative schedule with the written scope.

How much will it cost?

Scope and pricing are quoted after a site assessment. We do not publish package prices that would need a dozen assumptions to be meaningful.

Is there a monthly fee?

Not for the system itself. It is open source and runs on hardware in your home. Optional extras, such as a cloud service you keep or a support plan with us, are always stated separately.

Can we talk in Chinese?

Yes. English or Chinese, whichever the household prefers.

Next step

Send us your floor plan or tell us about the home, and what you want to change first.
