Smart door locks and home security for Singapore homes

Updated

Digital locks, door sensors and cameras on one dashboard, with local recording where supported. What we set up, and what to check before you buy a lock.

Security is where a smart home should be most dependable. We bring digital locks, door and window sensors and cameras together on one dashboard, so you can see the state of the home at a glance and get alerts that are worth reading.

What we set up

  • Digital lock and gate status in one view.
  • Door, window and motion sensors with alerts that tell you what happened, not just that something did.
  • Away, home and night modes, so the house behaves differently when you leave or go to bed.
  • Cameras with local recording where the camera supports it, instead of depending on a vendor cloud.

Choosing a lock

Retrofit or full replacement, fingerprint or PIN, and what happens when the battery dies are the questions that matter most. Our smart door lock guide covers the choices and backup plans.

Two things to settle early: how you get in if the battery is flat or the system fails, and who else needs access, including family and helpers.

Common questions

What happens to the lock if the internet goes down?

A local system keeps working. Automations, wall switches and sensors run on the controller in your home. Remote access and cloud-only devices pause until the connection returns. Read more in what keeps working offline.

Can I use my existing cameras?

Often yes. Many cameras use standards such as ONVIF or RTSP, which other systems can read. We check yours first. Our guide on adding AI to existing CCTV explains what is possible.

Will cameras record locally?

Where the camera supports it, yes. Recording can stay on hardware in your home.
